Job Role: Transactional Procurement Specialist
Capgemini is looking for motivated candidates to join its procurement team as a Transactional Procurement Specialist. This role focuses on managing day-to-day purchasing activities efficiently while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
The selected candidates will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to process purchase requests, manage purchase orders, and support procurement operations.
Job Responsibilities
As a Transactional Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Process purchase requisitions and create Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP systems.
- Ensure pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules are accurate.
- Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers.
- Handle invoice matching (2-way and 3-way matching).
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and procurement issues.
- Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams for approvals and clarifications.
- Support issue resolution related to delayed or incorrect deliveries.
- Maintain procurement records for audit purposes.
