About the Role
As an Application and Product Security Analyst I, you will work on identifying security vulnerabilities across embedded devices, web applications, mobile applications, and cloud-based services. The role involves penetration testing, security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and preparing detailed technical reports.
You will work closely with senior security engineers and the global security team while contributing to Vertiv’s product security initiatives from its Pune Global R&D Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform penetration testing on embedded systems, web applications, mobile applications, and cloud platforms.
- Conduct security assessments and threat analysis.
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Perform protocol analysis, wireless communication testing, and data injection.
- Assist in reverse engineering systems and communication protocols.
- Prepare detailed technical reports with proof-of-concept findings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product security.
- Plan and execute testing activities under senior engineers’ guidance.
- Use GitLab for issue tracking and security testing workflows.
- Research emerging security threats and improve testing methodologies.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Freshers with strong cybersecurity knowledge or experienced professionals are welcome to apply.
- Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or equivalent are an added advantage.
